Charlotte started her professional career as an auditor having moved round the world with one of the big four accountancy firms from Belfast to London, Sydney and then back to the UK when she had started her family. In a bid to slow down (stop travelling so much) she completed the tax exams and has worked on a range of SME’s across the UK on a range of accountancy and taxation services and over the past few years supported R&D teams and larger advisory clients on creative tax reliefs among other taxation and advisory services.
Between seeing investment in art and the general consumption of the arts as a priority and her genuine care for her clients whether small or large Charlotte is passionate about expanding the arts community through investment by HMRC.
Richard Gray
Richard is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Registered Auditor and Insolvency Practitioner who previously worked for KPMG and EY before becoming self-employed in 2014. Alongside Richard Bullock, Richard developed a successful tax incentives business with clients across the UK and Northern Ireland ranging from pre-revenue to multi-nationals.
The combination of the continued growth of our Creative Tax Credit clients alongside the introduction of new partners who specialise in this field has led to the creation of Channel Creative as an Independent business.
Richard finds Channel Creative to not only be rewarding as it allows him to deliver some much needed funding to the Sector but it also allows Accountants to speak to some seriously interesting people.
Outside of work Richard can be found running after his 4 kids, running along the shore or planning which event to go to next.
Richard Bullock
Richard is a Chartered Accountant with a varied career in practice and industry, having led several funding rounds in the family business before achieving a successful exit. Richard worked in EY Corporate Finance prior to joining Richard Gray c.2015 in private practice to grow their tax incentives and reliefs practice throughout the UK.
Richard specialises in engaging with HMRC to successfully resolve compliance checks on incentives & relief claims.
Outside of work Richard tries to get to the sea any time he can. He’s a long way off a being big wave rider but tries to make falling off a surf board appear relatively planned!
